ON THEORIES OF SOCIOLOGY OF EDUCATION: A GLANCE AT THE TURKISH EDUCATION SYSTEM

Education and schools in general are one of the most controversial issues modern societies. The function education as a social phenomenon is examined within scope sociology education. There four different perspectives used references to explain role society. In this paper, theories field presented under two headings: functionalist critical perspectives.
